The author and illustrator are a mother-daughter team from Tasmania, Australia.

Jo Siggins is a professional investigator, and she usually writes about all sorts of serious and puzzling cases! 

Her dog Coco has often joined her at work as the office CFO (Chief Furry Officer). 

Jo has loved writing this light-hearted children's book, inspired by her beloved Coco.

Kaz Hutchison is an award-winning artist using mixed media: acrylics with pastel, ink and pencil. 

All of the illustrations in Undercover Coco were created from her hand painted originals. 

Kaz shares with Jo a love of the cheeky Coco and was delighted to try to bring that joy to others.

Undercover Coco is inspired by the real-life Coco, an inquisitive and intelligent terrier who has always loved exploring the bush and observing the various wildlife and farm animals that live nearby.
